The Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy study group is a virtual working group. It will give participants an opportunity to come together to talk about and practice Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy skills. We hope to get curious together about what is working and those areas where you feel you may need more practice and knowledge. We will use discussion, role-play in large and small groups, as well as peer support to further embed DDP principles into your practice.<\/p>

Our intention in having a small working group of 25 people is to ensure we have the opportunity to explore the moments, the themes, and issues that are relevant to group members \u2013 the good, the bad and the ugly!<\/p>

The study group includes 10 two hour virtual sessions over the course of a year which will provide training, opportunities for practice, and consultation.<\/p>

Dr. Sian Phillips, PhD, CPsych<\/span><\/strong> is a psychologist who consults for the George Hull Centre Institute of Childhood Trauma & Attachment. In addition she is a DDP Trainer and has a private practice. Sian specializes in the assessment treatment of children who have experienced developmental trauma and the families that look after them.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Kristin Gionfriddo, MSW, RSW, <\/span><\/strong>is a social worker who works for the George Hull Centre Institute of Childhood Trauma & Attachment as well as the George Hull Centre Community Clinic. Kristin has also been a part-time professor at Humber College in the post graduate addictions and mental health program since 2017. Kristin is completing her DDP practicum and integrates her DDP skills with her DBT and TF-CBT training.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
