the developing brain. For the past 25 years, Dr. Jonathan Baylin has been studying the neuroscience of developmental trauma while continuing his clinical work with traumatized children and their families. In this webinar he will present his current model for understanding the multiple impacts of early life adversity on a child\u2019s development and his integrative approach to treatment and recovery.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Triple Trouble<\/b><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>What Dr. Baylin calls \u201ctriple trouble\u201d is the effect on the child of damage to core brain networks. \u201cTriple trouble\u201d refers to a child\u2019s loss of a sense of safety, fragmentation of sense of self, and suppression of a sense of hope for the future.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Dr. Baylin will explain how each of these arises from traumatic damage to developmental processes.
