Anna co-authored the article with two colleagues in Ireland, Maria Lotty, and Norma O\u2019Leary who was a postgraduate student at the time. The article entitled, \u201cUnderstanding the why: the integration of trauma-informed care into speech and language therapy practice,\u201d was published last year in the peer-reviewed academic journal, &#8220;Advances in Communication and Swallowing&#8221;, which is the official journal of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists. The article\u00a0highlights the need to integrate Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) into the practice of Speech and Language Therapy.
