Early Childhood Education

The George Hull EarlyON Centre offers a limited number of field practicum placements to early childhood education students in community colleges in Ontario.

Each student is assigned to a Registered Early Childhood Educator for supervision and mentoring and participates in all aspects of the EarlyON Program at one or more of our program sites, including:

• Working with children and parents/caregivers to develop their skills in Early Childhood Education.
• Building positive and supportive relationships with parents and young children.
• Gaining practical experience in program planning and program delivery to parents/caregivers and their children from birth to age six in both drop in and registered EarlyON programs.
• Attending regular EarlyON team meetings and participate as a collaborative member of the EarlyON team.
