The Centre is accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.
As a not-for-profit organization, the Centre is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The recruitment and nomination of Directors is carefully conducted by the Governance Committee to ensure the composition of the Board reflects the diversity of the communities it serves while reflecting the other required skills of the Board as a whole. SAFE-T SOCIAL WORKER/Clinician
2 Regular Full-Time Positions
Annual Salary Range: $68,430.15 – $75,373.49
LOCATION: The George Hull Centre for Children and Families Etobicoke, Ontario
The George Hull Centre is pleased to be launching the Sexual Abuse Family Education Treatment Program (SAFE-T) and is currently looking for experienced clinicians to join our team. The SAFE-T Program also provides consultation & training and conducts research.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team our clinicians will provide comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment including individual, family, and group therapy for children, youth and families who have been impacted by sexual abuse. They will provide clinical case co-ordination and work collaboratively with other agencies and participate in providing specialized training and consultation within the SAFE-T Program, the George Hull Centre and the community. Working together with the team Managers and Directors, the clinicians will take on special projects to support the continued development and evaluation of the SAFE-T Program.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Institute of Childhood Trauma and Attachment
Full-time 2-year Contract: April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027
Annual Salary Range: $ 49,599.72 – 57,499.67
The George Hull Centre is a leading Children’s Mental Health Centre providing a full continuum of services to children from birth to 18 and their families in West Toronto. Within the Centre, the Institute of Childhood Trauma and Attachment was established in September 2019 to promote well-being and reduce suffering of children, youth, and families who have experienced trauma and attachment disruptions by enhancing how systems provide care through the integration of best practice, research, and training.
We are currently seeking a Research Assistant to support the implementation, evaluation, and research of this project. The successful candidate will be part of a growing research team and will engage in a wide variety of research-related work such as rolling up data, data processing and verification, updating databases, supporting planning and implementation of fidelity measurement, communicating with participants, coordinating activities, and creating evaluation tools. The Research Assistant may also assist with knowledge translation, which could include literature searches and/or preparation of tables and graphs, assisting with the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, and other materials. This position requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to work effectively and strategically with various professionals, programs, and partners.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST, CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT LEAD
Institute of Childhood Trauma and Attachment
Full-Time Position, 2-year contract* (April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027)
Annual Salary Range: $79, 930.10 – 95,109.96
*Qualified permanent staff of the George Hull Centre interested in this role are eligible for a 2-year secondment to the Institute, with their original role available to them following the end of this contract.
We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Development Lead (CDL) Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Institute to support the implementation of this project. This is a unique role for a registered speech-language pathologist with advanced training and knowledge regarding childhood trauma and attachment disruption, substantial experience working with children from birth to six and their families, a successful history of interprofessional collaborative practice, and clinical leadership experience within SLP services. The successful candidate will be joining a growing team dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed knowledge and practice across child and youth sectors through training and consultation.

We are currently seeking a part-time (3 days/week) Clinician, Trainer, and Consultant to join the Institute to support the implementation of this project. This is a unique role for a registered social worker with extensive knowledge and experience working with young children and their families impacted by trauma and attachment disruption, a proven history of interdisciplinary collaborative practice, particularly with child development professionals, and clinical leadership experience within children’s mental health services. This position requires a highly skilled and passionate clinician with a proven ability to engage adult learners in developing clinical and practice skills in the area of trauma-informed care. The successful candidate will be joining a growing team dedicated to enhancing trauma-informed knowledge and practice across child and youth sectors through training and consultation.
